The end-of-year holidays are approaching, and with them the desire to share, to give and to give back a little human warmth to those who are going through difficult times. At Langevin Real Estate, we firmly believe in the power of solidarity, and it is in this spirit that we are launching our 2024 Christmas Collection. This annual event is an opportunity for our community to mobilize and provide concrete support to women in difficulty, in partnership with Logis Rose Virginie.
In this article, discover why this collection is important, how you can contribute, and how together we can make a real difference in the lives of vulnerable women.
A call for solidarity: why participate in the collection
Christmas is synonymous with moments of happiness, family reunions, and abundance. However, for some people, this period is marked by challenges, shortages, or even overwhelming loneliness. Participating in the Christmas Collection is about reaching out to these women who fight every day to rebuild their lives, often after particularly difficult trials.
Thanks to your donations, we can offer them much more than material support: a message of hope, a reminder that they are not alone and that their community is there for them.
What can we give
During this collection, we accept two types of essential donations.
Non-perishable foods
Basic food products are an essential resource for women who sometimes struggle to meet their needs. Here are some examples of appreciated donations:
- Pasta and rice
- Canned goods, vegetables, soups, meats, fish
- Long-lasting products like powdered milk or cereals
Hygiene products
Hygiene products are often expensive but essential to maintain a minimum of dignity and comfort in everyday life. You can bring:
- Toothbrushes and toothpaste
- Shampoos and shower gels
- Hygiene products such as pads or tampons
- Creams, lotions, and makeup
If you prefer a financial contribution, monetary donations are also accepted. They allow the organization to respond quickly to the most urgent needs.
Practical details: where and when to participate
To facilitate your participation, we have set up accessible collection schedules and locations.
Period: From December 1 to 15, 2024
Location: Langevin Real Estate Agency, 6417 Saint-Laurent Blvd, Montreal, H2S 3C3
Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:30 am to 5:00 pm
Each donation can be dropped off directly at our agency. Our teams will be happy to welcome you and thank you for your generosity.
How your gesture can transform a life
Behind each donation lies a story of resilience and courage. Logis Rose Virginie accompanies women who have often lost their bearings and have to rebuild their lives from scratch. These donations allow them not only to meet basic needs, but also to regain a sense of dignity and self-confidence.
Imagine a woman who, thanks to a simple toothbrush or shampoo, feels capable of leaving her home and facing the world again. Or a young girl who, thanks to a can of food, can finally prepare a nourishing meal for herself. These simple gestures may seem trivial, but their impact is immense.
A simple gesture, a big difference
Participating in this collection is also about being part of a collective movement. Imagine what we can accomplish if each of us brings even the smallest thing.
A financial donation of five dollars can allow the purchase of several hygiene products.
A bag of rice can feed a family for several meals.
A gesture shared by hundreds of people can fill shelves and offer a more serene Christmas to dozens of women.
Langevin Real Estate and community engagement
